One driver injured another arrested for overnight accident

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP -- Two cars collide at a stop light leaving one driver injured and the other driver behind bars.

According to police, the accident happened at 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning on Airport Highway and Spring Meadows Drive in Springfield Township.

The driver of the first car was waiting at a stop light when the second car rear ended it. Police say the injured driver suffered minor injuries and the second driver was taken to jail. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
