BOWLING GREEN -- Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Paul Ryan, made an appearance at Bowling Green State University on Saturday. Ryan attended the BGSU game to root for his alma mater, Miami University of Ohio.

In 1992, Ryan graduated from Miami University with degrees in political science and economics.

The Wisconsin congressman was accompanied by his wife, Janna, and his children Samuel, Charles and Elizabeth. They visited tailgaters around the Doyt Perry Stadium.

Ryan played a few rounds of the bean bag toss game, cornhole, with his children.

Ryan greeted supporters, posed for pictures and signed autographs.
