TOLEDO -- It took a Lucas County jury a little more than a hour to reach a not guilty verdict Thursday morning in the trial of two Tony Packo's executives who were charged with stealing thousands of dollars from the company.

Tony Packo III, the founder's grandson and the company's controller, Cathleen Dooley were acquitted after a trial that lasted seven days and included the testimony of more than 20 witnesses.

They were charged with aggravated theft after being accused of stealing more than $170,000 from the hot dog eatery over a four year period.

The trial came on the heels of a bitter family battle over control of the company which ended when it was purchased by an local restaurant group.
