Local man dies in freak accident

PERRYSBURG TWP. -- A Perrysburg Township man has died in a freak accident.

The Lucas County Coroner says 63-year-old David Kellermeier was cutting down a tree last week on his property in the 26,000 bloock of West River Road when a branch fell on top of him.

He was taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center where he died Tuesday night.

No one else was hurt.
