Toledo police are searching for three men who allegedly stole $1000.00, in cash, from an 84-year-old woman.
Investigators say one of suspects knocked on the victim's door, on September 30th, and asked for a glass of water.
In surveillance video, the first suspect is seen waiting for some time before the victim comes to the door.
Authorities say the 84-year-old was home alone at the time of the theft.
Once she lets the first man in, he allegedly keeps her occupied in a utility room as the two other suspects enter the home.
Investigators say the victim did see the other two suspects come inside her home but was kept busy by the first man.
In addition to stealing the victim's cash, the men also allegedly went through the victim's drawers in her bedroom.
The suspects' vehicle is described as a newer and smaller-type SUV with no front plate.
All three men were also wearing gloves while in the home.
Police have asked that the victim's address be withheld but want to warn other Toledo residents of the scam.
