TOLEDO -- Early voting throughout Ohio's counties begin tomorrow.  For the first three weeks Early Vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The deadline to register to vote is Tuesday, October 9.  On that day Early Vote centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

There is litigation pending  in the Ohio courts that could add additional hours and days to early voting the weekend before Election Day.

Democratic Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur says casting an early ballot could avoid mishaps and confusion on Election Day.

"Because of the gerrymandering several precincts are spread across congressional districts and that could lead to error which is why it is important to vote early," Rep. Kaptur said.
