Healthy eating.

The movement to get students healthier options for eating at school is not a new one. But with new requirements being implemented around the country, the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food and Natural Services administrator paid a visit to Perrysburg High School to spend some time with kids while they were eating lunch today.
USDA Administrator Audrey Rowe says that it’s her job to make sure that schools are meeting the new standards. But she also wants to find out if the students like the rules and what they think about them.
She spent a some time today talking with the Perrysburg High School students about their concerns and what kind of foods they like and eat everyday. Administrator Rowe says that it’s important to start early with kids so they develop healthy eating habits early in life.
