Neighborhood safety town hall meeting

The safety town hall meeting starts at 6:00pm Thursday evening.

The purpose is to discuss recent violence in the urban Toledo area as well as to find possible solutions to combat these acts.

Residents have been expressing concern and are now calling for something to be done at the city level.

Mayor Mike Bell, Police Chief Derrick Diggs as well as other city officials and residents are those expected to be a part of the meeting.

The goal of this town hall is to find positive alternatives to the recent string of crime and violence.

They are also offering information and resources for citizens at the meeting. It is open to the public.
