TOLEDO -- The increasing problem of violence in the urban core of Toledo is a major concern for many Toledoans.  Residents of Old West End say they are tired of talking about the problem and are seeking solutions.  They invite anyone who wants to help find those solutions to come to the Neighborhood Safety Town Hall Meeting tonight.

At 6 p.m., residents, parents and community leaders, including Mayor Michael Bell and Chief of Police Derrick Diggs, will meet at Glenwood Elementary School.  Again, neighborhood residents who are looking for positive alternatives to crime and violence are asked to attend.

The event is sponsored by Residents of the West End and Empowering and Strengthening Ohio's People (ESOP).  For more information, contact James Jones at 419-464-9885.
