MAUMEE -- If you plan to go out this weekend and have a few drinks, be sure to designate a driver.

The Maumee Police will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on US 24 at Country Blvd. Friday night.  It will begin at 8 p.m. and end at midnight.  Traffic in the northeast bound lanes will be diverted through the checkpoint, which will be at Country Blvd. and Anthony Wayne Trail.

So, please make smart decisions and don't drink and drive.  See our story on the Tipsy Tow that AAA is offering: http://www.northwestohio.com/news/story.aspx?id=795259
