TOLEDO -- Three men charged with obstruction of justice in the shooting death of a baby and the injury of another each pleaded not guilty in court on Tuesday.
Antwaine Jones, 18; James Moore, 20; and Keyshawn Jennings, 20, are accused of lying to Toledo police detectives during the homicide investigation of 1-year-old Keondra Hooks.`
According to court documents, bond was set at $500,000 for each man and a trial is scheduled for Oct. 2. All three will remain in police custody at the Lucas County jail.
Keondra and her 2-year-old sister, Leondra, were shot while they slept on the living room floor of their grandmother's apartment at Moody Manor on Aug. 9. Keondra died from a gunshot wound to the head, but Leondra survived.
If convicted on the obstruction of justice charges, the men face up to three years in prison.
