Toledo mother arrested for leaving toddler son in car while shopping

TOLEDO -- A Toledo woman is accused of leaving her child in a car while she went grocery shopping.

According to court records, 21-year-old Tiara Collins was arrested after police say she left her 2-year-old son alone in a vehicle for more than an hour while she shopped at the Kroger Store on Glendale Avenue in South Toledo Monday.  The boy was not hurt.

Collins was arraigned Tuesday on a child endangering charged and released on her own recognizance.
