Rossford Fire Department is now investigating a Sunday night fire that destroyed a house on Oak Street as an arson.

According to Rossford Police Chief Glenn Goss, an officer noticed smoke coming from 160 Oak Street and alerted dispatchers to contact the fire department around 8:30 p.m.

A woman inside the residence at the time of the fire was able to escape unharmed.

The State Fire Marshal's Investigators Office will be investigating the fire as Rossford Fire Chief James Verbosky determined the fire is suspicious.
