Navy ships coming to Toledo / Tim Wening

Next week will be a busy time in downtown Toledo. The river will be packed with naval and coast guard vessels of all sizes.

There will be four modern navel and coast guard vessels along with other ships. They will all be docked along the Maumee River for the first ever Naval Week in Toledo. The ships will begin to arrive on Aug. 23 but there will be activities all week beginning on Monday.

The public will be able to take tours of the vessels from Aug. 24 thru Aug. 26. For more information on Navy Week and activities go to http://www.maritimeacademy.us/
