Designate a driver and drive safely--Toledo police will be conducting a Labor Day period traffic enforcement blitz from Aug. 17-Sept. 3. This enforcement blitz will concentrate on all traffic violations, with an emphasis on speeding and drunk driving.

Officers will be working on random dates during this period and will be assigned to various locations around the city. This enforcement special will be held in conjunction with the national alcohol crack down campaign, "drive sober or get pulled over."

The enforcement special is made possible by funding from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
