Local man accidentally kills self while mowing lawn

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office found an elderly Graytown man dead in a ditch on Wednesday.

Investigators believe that 75-year-old Albert C. Boss Jr., of N. Elliston Trowbridge Road, was attempting to cross the ditch on a zero-turn lawnmower when it flipped on top of him.

His body was found partially submurged in the ditch around 2 p.m.

Authorities say after they were able to free Boss, from under the lawnmower, he was already dead.
