PERRYSBURG -- Shots fired during an altercation in Perrysburg lead police to arrest a man who had several high-powered guns in his possession on Tuesday night.
According to the news release, police responded to the scene of the incident on West South Boundary near Mulberry around 7:30 p.m. Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles at the scene, including a silver jeep and a green over silver pick-up truck.
The investigation lead police to Colonial Gardens apartments, where officers found eight high-powered rifles and guns, as well as several hundred rounds of ammunition, at the residence of 51-year-old John Vandersall.
Vandersall was arrested and charged with felonious assault. He is currently being held on a $150,000 bond at the Wood County Justice Center.
