PERRYSBURG -- PERRYSBURG - With the Perrysburg voters, having approved the withdrawal from TARTA service in March, the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority is supposed to remove their services next month.

One Perrysburg councilman, J. Todd Grayson, is hoping TARTA will continue past the expriation.

Councilman Grayson wrote a letter to TARTA asking to establish a fixed route to Levis Commons. Steve Atkinson, Marketing Director for TARTA says that it is ultimately up the board.

Atkinson said, "It will be reviewed by the policy committee next week and then at the next board meeting. It will go to vote by the TARTA board of trustees in September."
