NORTH RIDGEVILLE, OHIO -- Only a few weeks after a 24-year-old man killed 12 people and wounded 58 others at a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" in Aurora, Colo., an Ohio man was arrested for carrying a gun, ammunition and knives into a showing of the same film.

According to Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC, a manager saw 37-year-old Scott Smith enter the theater with a suspicious satchel on Saturday night. The manager and an off-duty police officer searched the bag and found a 9 mm Glock handgun, two additional loaded magazines and two knives. A third knife was found hidden in the man's clothes.

He was arrested and his home was searched on Monday night. Investigators found a room "dedicated to guns," ammunition, a gas mask and more.

Westlake Police told WKYC that the man was the first in the theater and was sitting in a seat with "tactical advantage."
