Ohio couple accused of putting kids in plastic containers

STUEBENVILLE, OHIO -- A couple from Stuebenville, Ohio is accused of forcing their children into plastic storage boxes as a form of punishment.

Police say the couple used duct tape to seal their three children, ages 5, 7 and 8 inside the storage containers. They say holes were cut in the top for air.

Prosecutors said two other people are charged with knowing about the abuse and not doing anything about it.

The children are now with other family members.
