The rare baseball cards we told you about a few weeks ago that a Defiance family found in their late grandfather's attic were sold at auction last night during the National Sports Collectors Convention in Baltimore.

The 37 Century-old baseball cards, featuring the likes of Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Cy Young and Honus Wagner, were sold for a combined $566,132.  The 1910 Honus Wagner card, graded in perfect condition, sold for $239,000 alone.

Karl Kissner, who found the cards with his cousin in February said they belonged to their grandfather, Carl Hench, who died in the 1940s.  One of Hench's daughters lived in the house until she died last year. She left everything in the home to her 20 nieces and nephews.

The auction house declined to identify the winning bidders.  The family is evenly dividing the cards and money among the 20 cousins.
