TOLEDO -- If you noticed a rise in gas prices in Northwest Ohio over the past 24 hours, you can blame Chicago area refineries.

AAA Ohio says prices spiked more than 20 cents per gallon.  The auto club says the average for unleaded in Ohio started Monday at $3.46 but is now $3.69 or more.

Chicago-area refineries that bumped up wholesale prices for the entire region because of their problems.  AAA says prices may continue to rise until the issues are resolved.
