TOLEDO -- The news is not all bad on the WNWO Pump Patrol.

Gas Prices in Ohio and Michigan are up slightly over last week but still less than what we were paying at this time last year.

AAA says the average in Michigan for a gallon of unleaded increase 2 cents from last week to $3.61. The auto club says the average is about 18 cents per gallon less than last year.

In ohio, motorists are paying about a penny more per gallon than last week.  The statewide average is now $3.46.  A year ago, the average was $3.68.

Nationally, the average price for regular gas is about $3.49, about 2 cents higher than last week. The national average last year at this time was $3.71.
