TOLEDO -- There will be another levy on the November ballot.

The Board of Directors for the Toledo Area Metroparks has approved a 0.9 mill, 10 year levy that will pay for developing new parks areas and operations while preventing budget cuts.

The levy would replace an existing levy that expires at the end of the year.  If approved it would cost the owner of a $100,000 home about $28 a year, an increase of about $18 a year over the expiring levy.

With this levy, there will be seven on the November ballot for Lucas County residents.
