MADISON TWP. -- A 49-year-old Toledo man died after his car struck a utility pole in Williams County early Sunday.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old David Kirk was driving on U.S. 20 in Madison Township when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a utility pole. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
