BOWLING GREEN, OHIO -- Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney brought his campaign to northwest Ohio on Wednesday, asking for donations while continuing with the onslaught of attacks currently flying between candidates.

Romney first made an appearance at The Toledo Club for a private fundraiser at 11:30 a.m., where donors took photos -  for a $10,000 donation - and attended a $50,000 ticket luncheon with the former Massachusetts governor.

Just after 2:00 p.m., Romney was introduced by Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) at a town hall meeting at the Bowling Green Community Center. The candidate, told a crowd of hundreds of supporters that President Barack Obama (D) cares more about his own job than about finding jobs for millions of unemployed Americans.

The fresh attack comes as Democrats and a growing number of Republicans push Romney to release his income tax returns.
