CLEVELAND -- Police are now following tips that Blissfield double murder suspect Thomas Fritz could be hiding in the Cleveland area, according to Cleveland NBC affiliate WKYC.
WKYC reports Michigan State Police still have the lead of the case, but will contact Cleveland police if they locate Fritz.
A three-count felony warrant has been issued for Fritz in the murders of his former girlfriend, 33-year-old Amy Lynn Merrill, and her pregnant sister, 24-year-old Lisa Michelle Gritzmaker, and the wounding of their mother, 52-year-old Robin Lynn McCowan.
The women were shot at their home on North Lane Street on Saturday night.
