BOWLING GREEN -- A Bowling Green father has been indicted on charges he murdered his 3 month old son.

A Wood County Grand Jury handed down the indictment against 31-year-old Brian Steinmiller last week.

The Wood County prosecutor says Steinmiller is responsible for the severe head trauma that led to his infant son, Carter's death on May 5.  Steinmiller is also facing child endangering charges.

If convicted of murdering his son, he could get up to 15 years to life in prison.

The victim's mother is also facing charges, but not murder.

Rebecca Steinmiller is accused of failing to get her son medical treatment for an injury she knew of.  She's free on bond.
