TOLEDO -- East Toledo residents are urging Mayor Mike Bell to re-open Ravine Park.  Resident Theresa Bowen says the kids in her neighborhood have few recreational opportunities.  "Keep our pool open because our kids need something to do over here; these kids could come to the pool at noon, swim all day and go home and eat dinner and then they would be too tired to do anything else," Ms. Bowen said.

While the city of Toledo has decided to demolish Highland Park Pool the end of this month Mayor Mike Bell says no decision has been made about Ravine Park pool, Collins Park pool and Detwiler pool. "A lot of that depends on having the budget to move forward, but we just wanted to move forward and get this on the radar screen of council members; we are not going to go down next week and start tearing these things out,"  Mayor Bell said.
