The severe storms that swept into Northwest Ohio on Thursday left tens of thousands without power.

No one in the path of the heavy rain and winds was immune to the damage.

An State Farm insurance office on South Reynolds Road had a large tree come down on top of it, breaking up some of the roofing.

In a Springfield Township neighborhood a home, off of Hill and South McCord Road, sustained damage.

"The next thing I knew the rain was going horizontal and my wife yelled something hit the house," Andrew Szymanek said of the tree that tore through his enclosed porch and garage.

Several roads were also closed because of the storms.

At Bancroft and Reynolds officials closed the road while they worked to clean tree limbs from the street.

If you have images or video of damage to your home share it with WNWO.
