BOWLING GREEN -- A Bowling Green man is facing murder charges in connection to the death of his 3 month old son Carter.

31-year-old Brian Steinmiller was arrested Thursday morning at his parents' home in Toledo.

The Wood County Prosecutor say Steinmiller is responsible for the severe head trauma that led to his infant son's death on May 5.  Steinmiller is also facing child endangering charges. If convicted of murdering his son, he could get up to 15 years to life in prison.

The victim's mother is also facing charges but not murder.  Rebecca Steinmiller is accused of failing to get her son medical treatment for an injury she knew of.  She's free on bond.
