TOLEDO -- Chrysler is adding more vehicles to a recall of Toledo-built Jeep Libertys.

The Detroit automaker is expanding the safety recall to include 137,000 from the 2006 and 2007 model years.

The federal government says parts of the rear suspension can rust and break, possibly causing a crash.

The recall now totals 347,000 vehicles and covers Liberty owners in 20 states including Ohio and Michigan where salt is used during the winter months.

Chrysler in March said it was recalling about 200,000 Libertys from the 2004 and 2005 model years .  Owners will be notified.
