WOOD COUNTY -- An Ohio man was arrested in Wood County, on Wednesday, for allegedly trying to have sexual relations with an underage girl.

The Wood County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Child Unit (ICAC) apprehended 67-year-old Charles McClintock when he traveled to Northwest Ohio from Chagrin Falls, OH.  

Authorities say that McClintock traveled to the area to meet with who he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

Investigators allege that the 67-year-old was involved in repeated chat sessions with a deputy posing as the teen and made online solicitations for sexual activity.

He is now charged with two counts of felony Importuning and one felony count of Attempted Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor.

McClintock's preliminary hearing has been set for June 13th.
