SYLVANIA TWP. -- A construction project that began Tuesday in Sylvania Township could put a damper on your commute.

Northbound lanes of  McCord Road between Bancroft and Central will be closed for the next 35 days.

Crews are widening the road and updating storm and sewer lines.

The southbound lanes will be open.

You can use either King Road or Holland-Sylvania to get around the construction.
