According to the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) a portion of I-475 will be closed, in both directions, late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
Utility work, to take place between 10pm and 2am, near Auburn Avenue and is needed to repair damaged caused during a traffic accident on Tuesday.
For those that travel I-475 Westbound, during these hours, ODOT suggests using the following alternate route: Southbound I-75; Detroit Avenue (Exit 203B); Monroe Street; Upton Avenue.
Drivers that use the Eastbound side are encouraged to use : Promedica Parkway Drive/Central Avenue (Exit 19); Monroe Street; Detroit Avenue; I-75 as an alternative.
