OTTAWA -- Police in Ottawa, Ohio are investigating an armed robbery that ocurred on Friday. Police say that at around 5:20 p.m. a man armed with a gun entered the Cut Rate Tobacco store which is located at 820 N. Locust Street. Employees told police that the man got away with an undetermined amount of money from the cash register and tobacco items worth $134.
Witnesses say the man fled in a dark colored SUV, possibly a Chevy Blazer. The man is said to be in his mid 20's to mid 30's, around 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing about 120 pounds. Anyone with any information on this incident should call the Ottawa Police Department at 419-523-3208.
