TOLEDO -- A Toledo woman who police believe is the mother of the baby found dead in a freezer is now facing new charges.

20-year-old Kenisha Pruitt has been indicted on charges of aggravated murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence.  These charges are on top of a murder count she was already facing.

Investigators say Pruitt and the presumed father of the baby 18-year-old Antonio Cervantes assaulted the baby and caused its death on or about January 30.  The baby was found April 13 in a freezer at a home on Paine Avenue in East Toledo.

No indictments were handed down against Cervantes. Pruitt faces life in prison if convicted.
