SYLVANIA TWP. -- If you use McCord Road on your morning commute, you'd better choose an alternative route for the next couple of days.
McCord will be closed between Bancroft Street and Central Avenue from 9am to 3pm starting Tuesday morning.
Crews will be widening the road and updating storm and sewer lines. So if you use McCord Road, you'd better plan accordingly to avoid any traffic jams.
And you may also want to steer clear of Secor Road near the I-475 overpass.
That area was a mess Monday and it's expected to be another one Tuesday as crews continue work on bridge repairs.
Expect lane closures and traffic jams between 9am to 3pm Tuesday.
