TOLEDO -- Springtime means cute new faces at the Toledo Zoo, including three Ring-tailed Lemur babies just born this month.

The twin sister mothers, Fanta and Fresca, gave birth on April 7 and 8 at the zoo. Fanta had one while Fresca gave birth to twins. Once the babies' genders are determined, names will be announced.

Visitors can check out the lemurs, including father Oliver, at the family group exhibit in the Primate Forest's indoor viewing area starting April 20.

According to the zoo release, lemurs are members of the primate family and are very social and intelligent animals. They like to sunbathe and huddle together in "lemur balls" to stay warm and maintain social bonds.
