TOLEDO -- The Lucas County OVI Task Force will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint beginning on Friday, April 20 and concluding on Saturday, April 21.
The checkpoint is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. and will continue operation until approximately 1 a.m. The checkpoint will be on Dorr Street between Douglas Road and Secor Road.
The University of Toledo Police Department wants to impress upon those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements to safely make it home for the evening and throughout the summer months.
