EAST TOLEDO -- Police say an East Toledo landlord found a dead infant inside the freezer in one of his properties on Friday.

The female corpse was discovered inside the home at 116 Paine St., where renters had just moved out. The landlord was said to be cleaning out the property when he found the body inside a freezer. He called police around 8:00 p.m. Friday to report the discovery.

According to Toledo Police Sgt. Joe Heffernan, 20-year-old Kenisha  Pruitt and Antonio Cervantes, 18, have been arrested. Both are being held in the Lucas County Jail on charges of child endangerment. More charges against the most recent tenants of the home are pending an autopsy which is scheduled to be performed on the infant Monday morning.

Authorities say Pruitt was said to have been pregnant in November but that no birth was ever reported.
