TOLEDO -- Toledo's Powertrain plant is getting a lot of new faces next week.

General Motors is adding more than 60 new workers to the 6-speed transmission assembly lines on Monday.  But that's not all.

As we've reported before, the factory is being equipped to build a new 8-speed transmission and when that's complete an additional 150 new jobs will be created.

The 8-speed transmission should be in full production by early 2013.

Nearly 2,000 people work at the Powertrain plant on Alexis Road in West Toledo.
