Lead by the Black Student Union at Bowling Green State University, members of the organization and students marched across campus to raise public awareness for the Trayvon Martin case.

The teen was shot and killed in Sanford, Florida by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman.

This week Zimmerman was charged with second degree murder for Martin's death, Zimmerman has pleaded not guilty.

The students involved in Thursday's march began at the BGSU basketball courts and then marched to the student union.

Participants chanted "Today we are marching for Trayvon Martin" as they traveled through campus.

Once inside the student union, speakers discussed the latest developments in the case.
