BG police investigate reported sexual assault

BOWLING GREEN -- A female victim told police she was abducted and sexually assaulted by two men while entering her apartment building late last Sunday.

The victim reports that as she attempted to enter the building in the 400 block of East Court Street, two white males forced her into the back of a car and drove her around while she was sexually assaulted.

One suspect was described as taller than 6 feet and thin while the other suspect was shorter than 6 feet and stocky. The victim said the vehicle was a compact, dark in color with a tan interior, clean and four-door. 

She reported the incident to the Bowling Green police on April 5. The victim was referred to the Wood County Hospital, where she was treated and released. 

Investigation into the incident continues.
