Toledo Police arrested a University of Toledo student accused of choking a woman in The Crossings residence hall on Monday.

According to the court affidavit, 20-year-old Louis Ford dumped a beverage on the victim before spitting in her face and choking her.

Ford faces assault and inciting to violence charges. He is currently booked in the Lucas County jail and will be arraigned in Toledo Municipal Court on Saturday.

Police are also investigating an attack in Carter Hall from March 31. According to authorities, at least six women ganged up on one student during the incident.
