Update: Timberlake Community Church can no longer accept clothing donations for the fire victims. You can still donate bedding, toiletries, furniture, etc.

After being contacted by Springfield Township officials, a Northwest Ohio church has stepped up to be the central location for drop- off and distribution of donations for the victims of this week's fatal blaze in Springfield Township.

The Red Cross is already assisting 69 people that were displaced during Sunday's fire at the Hidden Cedars condominium complex.

Earlier this week, the non-profit revealed that residents in only one of the 20 units damaged had renter's insurance.

Now, the community is doing its best to help those that lost everything in the blaze.

The Timberlake Community Church in Holland will be distributing items donated, by the community, to fire victims this Saturday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

"The neatest thing is we're hearing people have actually been through fires themselves and they understand the devastation," Lead Pastor of Timberlake Community Church Ed Grable said of some donors.

The church on South McCord Road is collecting clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, bedding and coats.

They say the more donations they get, the more they'll be able to distribute.

Meantime the investigation into the fire continues, as debris was recently brought to the Division of State Fire Marshal's forensic lab in Reynoldsburg for analysis.

Fire officials say the process can take up to 7 to 10 days to complete.

On Wednesday, investigators also continued interviewing condominium tenants in the hopes of gaining new information.
