Severe weather season is nearly upon us and local leaders want to make sure you are ready.

Tornado sirens will be sounding off Wednesday morning at 9:50-am.

Don't worry though it's just a test as part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.  Schools, businesses and homes are encouraged to use this time to reveiw their emergency plans.

The test is to remind Ohioans of the threat of tornadoes especially between the months of April and July.

The National Weather Service recommends citizens have a NOAA weather radio. The NOAA weather radio is an all-hazards public warning system that broadcasts forecasts, warnings, and emergency information 24-hours a day directly to the public.
