CINCINNATI -- The country's most infamous plumber has suffered a setback in a lawsuit claiming his rights were violated.

Samuel Wurzelbacher says his First Amendment and privacy rights were violated when Ohio officials searched databases for information about him after he voiced his opposition to then candidate Barack Obama in 2008.

A Federal court in Cincinnati ruled that Joe the Plumber's wasn't harmed nor his free speech violated by the searches.

One Ohio Job and Family Services official was fired and two others resigned in the wake of the scandal.

As you may recall Wurzelbacher won the GOP nomination for the 9th Congressional District and will face Democrat Marcy Kaptur in November.,
