TOLEDO -- Downtown Toledo's science center has unveiled a new exhibit that will teach children about how food goes from being a seed planted into the ground to their dinner table.

The interactive agriculture exhibit called Grow U at the Imagination Station is sponsored by The Andersons.

"Discussions of creating an exhibition that would help educate the children of our community about the 'seed to table' concept, began more than a year ago", said Lori Hauser, Executive Director of Imagination Station. "After careful consideration and planning, the result is a new permanent exhibition that includes high-tech animatronics mixed with quality agriculture information that educates and entertains".

Kids will see how seeds are planted, the crops harvested, then shipped to grocery stores and then ultimately end up for dinner.  Grow U will open to the public on Wednesday, May 16.
