MONROE -- Police are on the hunt for a thief who got away with jewelry from Carroll Ochs Jewelers in Monroe on Tuesday night.
The security alarm went off around 10:45 p.m. when the suspect broke in and pried two glass cases open with a crow bar. Responding officers arrived to see the suspect flee out the back of the store.
Some of the stolen pieces were found dropped along Bentley Street.
Police have security video but are not releasing it at this time. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact (734)-243-7070.
